Solva Systems › Window cleaning
Round software for window cleaning companies.
The round, today’s work and the money. Three screens, because a round does not need thirty, and everything on it is something you actually use.
Book a conversationWhat usually goes wrong
A round is a simple business with an awkward shape. The work repeats on a cycle, the weather moves it, and the money arrives in a hundred small pieces. Most job software is built for something else entirely and buries all three under features you will never open.
- The round lives on paper or in your head. Which is fine until somebody else has to run it for a week.
- Rain moves everything and nothing updates. A washed out Tuesday pushes into Wednesday and the schedule stops being true.
- Collection is a hundred small chases. The work is done, the money is not in, and the chasing takes longer than the round.
- You cannot see who is overdue a clean. Properties quietly slip a cycle and nobody notices until the customer does.
- Big job software wants you to be a big job company. Quotes, engineers, stock and purchase orders, for a business that cleans windows on a cycle.
What we build instead
Kestrel Window Cleaning is one of the systems on our home page. It is illustrative, but the shape is real, and every part of it below is a screen that exists.
The round, as a round
Every property, its cycle, and when it is next due, in the order you actually drive it.
A day that reorders itself
Weather or a no-access moves the work and the rest of the week stays true rather than going stale.
Done in two taps
Marked from the phone at the property, with a photo if it matters, and no paperwork at the end of the day.
Collection that runs itself
Payment requests go out when the work is done, and what is outstanding is one number rather than a hunt.
Nothing slips a cycle
Anything overdue its clean comes to the top rather than quietly disappearing.
Only what you use
No quotes module, no stock, no purchase orders. Three screens, and all three earn their place.
Why not one of the off-the-shelf ones
Straight answer: if you are two people and a ladder, a round app off the shelf will probably do you, and it will cost less than us. This is worth it when the round is big enough that a lost cycle or a slow collection is real money, or when the way you run it is genuinely your own.
| Team size | Typical per-seat tool | Over three years |
|---|---|---|
| 5 people | around £30 a seat | about £5,000 |
| 15 people | around £30 a seat | about £16,000 |
| 30 people | around £30 a seat | about £32,000 |
The question is not whether the licence is cheap. It is what you are working around every day, and what that costs you in evenings.
How it works
We learn how you actually run. Usually a couple of calls. If it suits you we will come and spend a day watching the work move through the company.
You see it before you pay anything. We build the opening screens in your branding, with your words for things and demo data in them. Not a finished system, enough to see the shape of yours and tell us where it is wrong.
Then we build the real one. The monthly starts and takes three to six months depending on how much system there is. Every fortnight you are told where it is up to. One fee covers building it, running it, hosting it and improving it.
Worth a conversation about how your round runs?
